Schooltastic has been developed by experts to provide a “daily physical activity unit”, in order to establish sport as a key component and stimulus within the schooling process. This game promotes health and vitality, and helps cement pupils’ knowledge.
Teachers can set up the app on the tablet individually by entering knowledge questions. The dice is thrown and the counters are moved forward on the game mat; the pupils have to do both gymnastic and thought-based exercises.
Teachers complement the app on the tablet with individual knowledge questions tailored to the lesson.
The game is set up in the classroom, in the gym hall or outdoors. It is made up of a game mat, counters, a dice, a tablet and the corresponding holder.
The children launch the app on the tablet. The dice is thrown and the counters are moved forward on the game mat; the pupils have to complete both gymnastic and thought-based exercises.
The game ends as soon as one of the pupils reaches the finish, i.e. the starting point.
Schooltastic aims to use physical activity to promote health among pupils, make learning easier and sustainably enhance schools as a place of learning and acquisition of life skills, helping improve both health in schools and quality of schooling.
We would like to thank our partners and sponsors for the opportunity to equip even more schools with Schooltastic.
